Woodard's Automotive was established in 1979 by Alvin and Miriam Woodard. They moved from North Carolina and brought their children Cynthia and Jeff to begin a new life.

As the years went by, Jeff joined his mother and father in the family business. Eventually Jeff took his fathers place in running the business with the help of his mother.

It has grown to be the highest trained and certified independent automotive repair facilty in Florence. It is the only independent ASE Blue Seal Shop in the PeeDee area.
